Education is the cornerstone of the academy.  we integrate sports and education as one, with the believe that sports is an essential part of a student education.  Sports teaches  students how to  solve problems from an analytical perspective during competition, that problem solving skills

can lead to problem solving in the classroom

Discipline, confidence, match preparation, tardiness, respect for coaches and teammates, leadership, teamwork, all these skills will be use in excelling in the classroom.  Our education philosophy is simple education is your everything. 

The high cost of education has made educators and governments  to rethink how to provide high quality  education to underserved communities at a lower cost in developing countries.  We  are encounter the same problem. how are we addressing the high cost of education problem. read more

More than 50 percent of students in Cameroon and Liberia are unable to continue their education beyond primary school. Education  For all Children provides scholarships based on merit and need for the brightest and most vulnerable youth in these countries to pursue secondary and post-secondary education.

But scholarships alone cannot help students rise from extreme poverty. We provide a comprehensive education-to-employment program that prepares students for successful careers by developing their leadership and life skills capabilities.


In 2010, Sub Saharan Africa accounted for 31 million of the world’s 61 million children of primary school age out of school. The situation is particularly troubling for girls, with only one out of four girls in poverty attending school. Through scholarships, distribution of books, math programs and more, Aid for Africa members are making a difference.

 

In Sub Saharan Africa, 22 million people live with HIV/AIDS, one child in five dies from malaria, one woman in sixteen dies during pregnancy or childbirth, and there are 750 thousand new cases of tuberculosis every year. Aid for Africa members are working to reduce HIV rates, protect mothers and children, provide medical supplies, and much more. The community outreach program identifies community needs, develops health promotion and educational resources, and works to help improve health literacy and education in traditionally underserved communities. We work to expand our community partnerships and networks, build on existing outreach and education services and to reach large segments of communities with resources. 

Without access to medicines, Africans are susceptible to the three big killer diseases on the continent: Malaria, Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS. Globally, 50% of children under five who die of Pneumonia, Diarrheas', Measles, HIV, tuberculosis and malaria are in Africa, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

Community outreach involves the offering of education, social planning, and support of activities to community residents freely and openly. In terms of sustainability, community outreach allows citizens opportunities to get involved with their city in ways that allow them to choose and act upon the ways in which they believe are most fulfilling to themselves and their 

 

The Extended hand outreach bring people together for one common cause, to assist families in need of Education, Medical supplies, Food, and Clothing. Uhuru students teach adults to read and write, using various form of reading and writing aids such as Kindle, iPad, computers and just books. The program also teaches adults how to prepare for a job interview and integrate them back into the work force. The new and gently used educational supplies, Medical supplies, Food, Clothing campaign is held twice a year. We have assisted 100 athletes and their families in need. The A.A.S.P is about helping Kids. A.A.S.P matches students with adoptive parent(s) who are interested in adopting them. The students selected are informed of their “adoption” and contact is by the academy. The adoptive parents are provided progress of the student from the academy and the student throughout the school year.

 

There’s no better way to ensure the success of the program reaching its goals than by stepping into the role of adopting a student yourself. For many of the students, poverty, and combination of a difficult home life, makes going to school almost impossible. Your participation in the A.A.S.P will help them to continue their education as they prepare for the future.

 

The A.A.S.P is a means by which families, individuals, and groups, and can provide direct support to a student. Through the program a personal relationship is establish between the student and the adoptive parents(s).


Through the program adoptive parent(s) will gain first-hand knowledge of the well being of the student. In this tangible way the sponsors can provide moral, emotional, academic, athletic, and spiritual encouragement through correspondence with the student on a regular basis, this will form a strong relationship as they shared their experiences. In addition, gifts and financial assistance is highly encouraged to meet the physical needs of the student.New Paragraph

The scholarship program is compose of three levels

 College ,

 k-12 

 Football   


 We believe in the uniting power of education and sports. The college scholarship program is intended for disadvantage college bound students who has demonstrated strong academic, athletic, leadership community involvement during their high school career.


The organization has taken on the challenges to make college accessible to all its students.


The organization allocates scholarships for its students by applying to companies with college scholarship and endowment program.


Applying directly to colleges and universities for scholarships and grants on behalf of the students. Uhuru uses its scholarship database to search for scholarships.


Once Uhuru find the scholarship that meets the student needs have met the organization offering the scholarship or grant requirements.


The organization will apply for the scholarship on the student behalf by doing all the necessary work needed to obtain the scholarship or grant.


Establish an organization endowment (scholarship fund) within the organization.


 Scholarships and grant are disbursed directly to the institution, allowing the organization to track the student enrollment and academic progress.


Since the inception of the program, over $60.000 has been awarded in scholarships to students in the Africa.


The program currently has 75  colleges, universities and businesses actively involve.


The k-12 scholarship


The scholarship program works with private high school in providing scholarships for disadvantage students in the U.S to attend private schools in preparation for college, If the scholarship awarded from the school doesn’t cover the entire tuition, the academy will make up  the difference.


In Liberia the students live with host families all tuition and expense is covered by the academy.


The Football  scholarship   


Is intended for you youths participating in athletics activities with education being the driving force. The program places disadvantage kids currently involve in high level competition such as Olympic Development Programs, Adidas ID2 program, Premier club competition, and also kids whose parents are experiencing temporary financial hardship. The financial responsibility is shared by the academy and the organization the athlete is affiliated with. Since the inception of the program, over 15 students in the in the U.S and Liberia has benefited from the program.
