Our hearts are heavy as we share in the sorrow of losing Amadu Jah. He was more than a student of Uhuru Academy—he was family. Amadu’s sunrise was on October 29, 2009, and his sunset was on December 6, 2025. As the captain of our U‑17 team, he led with humility, courage, and an unshakeable spirit.

Uhuru Campaign to Fight Malaria
Malaria is a leading cause of child mortality in Africa, killing many children each year. Children under 5 are most vulnerable to malaria because they have not developed immunity to the disease yet. Children under 5 are especially vulnerable, accounting for 80% of malaria deaths on the continent in 2020. Around 481,500 children lost their lives to this deadly disease in Africa over the last year alone.
